Can be used in both up and down locking configuration, as a downlocker it would need to be used with a fighting butt or handle extension. The reel seat hardware is made from lightweight aircraft-grade aluminium with a knurled finish to the foot, retaining ring and slide band and a lightweight carbon fibre insert.
