DL2 downlock fly rod reel seat (all metal) 

Well-made, good value and light-weight all-metal down-locking reel seat in titanium/champagne anodised or black anodised finishes. 

The reel seat is assembled and supplied with two lock rings and an unfitted trim band for the cork handle end. There is no reel seat hood so grip inletting is not required.

Suitable for rods up to line weight #6 using any of our cork grips, and especially well matched with a cigar style grip. This style of seat particularly suits traditional style rods.  Also popular for longer length light line fly rods to improve balance in the hand by pushing the reel back to counteract the weight of the rod tip.  

Please note that this seat should fit any AFFTA standard sized fly reel seat foot. But it may not fit reels with a thicker or wider than normal reel seat foot, which includes many older/vintage reels.
