YS Dry Fly: I noticed something interesting in the fly fishing industry…constant innovation. A lot of my customers have expressed that they miss the feel of the graphite rods from 20-30 years ago. Many feel they were some of the best dry fly rods ever created so I decided to replicate the feel of these traditional graphite rods, while enhancing the recovery and lowering the weight.   What I’ve created are old school rods utilizing lower modulus graphite, leaving them, unpainted, and unsanded. These rods have a buttery action that you have to cast to believe.
