A step up from our popular PacBay guides with a superior foot finish for easier wrapping and a much more corrosion resistant PVD finish for saltwater applications.

Available sizes:

Black or Smokey 1/0 (1.5/0) litewire, #1 litewire #1 standard wire, #2, #3 (3/4), #4 (4/5), #5 (5/6)

Note the Seaguide SF guides run about a size larger than PacBay from #3 upward, and the SG#1/0 is about half way between a PacBay #1/0 and #2/0 (a 1.5/0!) and has a shorter 'foot' than standard wire sizes  - see the listing pictures for sizing charts.

Half the wrapping to do compared to traditional guides reduces weight and for a more modern look, and a rounder ring that tracks the flyline closer to the blank.  Hard chrome of PVD finish on stainless steel wire.  Suitable for fresh or salt water use.

We recommend using the smallest appropriate size of guide especially on the top half of the rod.  This will help maximise the performance of your rod by minimising excess weight.  

For rods #2/3 start with #2/0 or #1/0, for #4/5 start with #1/0, for #6/7 start with #1, for #8/9 start with #2, and for #10+ start with #3

Larger guides (next size up) may be appropriate if you are using shooting heads or long/French leaders, and for two handed (spey/ switch rods).
