Snake Brand Tip Top Rings

Snake Brand tip tops for fly rods. 

Available in hard chrome or black nickel (smoky) finish. Black nickel finish is not recommended for salt water use (for salt water use Seaguide gunsmoke rings and tops instead).   Snake Brand guides listed separately and also sold as full fly rod sets.

Try Seaguide gunsmoke tops if we do not have the size you need in black nickel, they are a good match.

To select the correct tiptop size, ask your blank provider or measure the diameter of your rod blank about 1cm from the tip end with a pair of callipers.   If in doubt, pick the next size up or buy both sizes.

If the tiptop is for one of our blanks please select 'match with blank' and we will supply the correct size tiptop. 

Standard loop (0.210" 5.3mm ID)  size recommended for most single-handed fly rods up to lineweight #6/7.  Large loop tip tops (0.310" 7.9mm ID) recommended for heavier saltwater use, shooting heads, switch and spey rods with at least size 2 snake or singlefoot guides on the tip section.
