FRC N-Tech X 9' Blanks
A versatile medium fast actioned rod blank and the cornerstone of the N-Tech X range.
A blank with a middle-to-tip to tip flex action, progressive taper and a quick recovering tip that’s soft enough to protect light tippets, with a reserve of power to deliver a lure or fish a team of nymphs or buzzers into a headwind. The lighter weight blanks make great all-round river trout and grayling rods.
Utilizing Japanese Toray carbon and nanotech resins, these blanks are slim, light and strong, four-piece blank in a smooth polished natural carbon finish.
Available in 4#, 5#, 6#, 7#, 8# and 10#
Supplied with rod sock, rod info decal and detailed guide spacing info

I spoke to Jason about a 9' build for sea trout on my local river, he put together a kit around the N-Tech X 907 and I caouldnt be happier, medium fast flex with oodles of power when needed, I've caught a few sea bass on it too!

I purchased the 9' 4wt N-Tech X for river fishing and it has exceeded expectations, covers all my dry fly, nymph and streamer fishing with ease and is a delight to fish either close or at distance. After speaking to Jason on the phone we put together a great component kit and some very nice silk thread to finish the rod, for my first build I'm very impressed with how it turned out.
Eyeing up an Ogawa glass build next for a small stream I have access to!

FRC N-Tech X 9' 5wt for small stillwaters, I love this blank, light strong and powerful and can lift off plenty of line when switching direction for rising trout. I need to try a Taniwha blank next

I spoke to Jason about building a 9' #6 for Mullet fishing and he recommended this blank. I've just finished the rod and been out with it a few times and I'm so impressed with how the rod performs. Very light, beautiful tip with plenty of power in the middle of the blank to cope with windy conditions. It's not too fast but still able to throw tight loops into a strong headwind. Unfortunately I'm yet to catch a Mullet on it but can't wait to put it to the test.
