Full wells 7" carbon fibre fly rod handle, for uplocking reel seats

Woven carbon fabric over urethane foam core. An interesting alternative to cork that is comfortable to hold with good grip, and as light as cork.    Easy to ream if required to fit your blank, if you are buying a blank from us we will do this for you (but not otherwise).

The handle can be used 'as is' or coated 'smooth' with epoxy guide finish or a similar flexible clear finish e.g. urethane varnish.  Dry on a rod turner.

Blanks of up to 1mm diameter less than 9mm butt diameter may be fitted with a gap filling gel epoxy or polyurethane glue using plasterer's drywall fibreglass mesh tape to 'pack' the gap and to centre the grip on the blank. We suggest buying a black winding check to cover the gap.
