Trout spey / switch carbon fibre fly rod handle 11"+5"

Carbon fibre Trout spey / switch fly rod grip 11" front + 5" rear 

Inlet 22mm for uplocking reel seats and bored 11mm.  Ideal for 10-12' two-handed rods. 

The listing price is for the handle only, sold as a two piece set. The UL6 reel seat shown can be purchased separately. 

You will need a trim band not an endcap. Check the reel seat ID is sufficient for your blank

Woven carbon fabric over urethane foam core. An interesting alternative to cork that is comfortable to hold with good grip, and as light as cork (a bit lighter in fact).   Very easy to ream further if required to fit your blank, go slowly it is easy to over-do it with a power reamer.  If you are buying a blank from us we will do this for you (but not otherwise).

Please note the grip has an 11mm bore. If your blank is at least 9mm OD plaster's jointing fibreglass mesh tape can be used to fill the void, best fitted with a gap filling expanding polyurethane glue (e.g. gorilla glue) or gel epoxy.  We will supply the mesh tape if the handle is purchased with one of our trout spey/ switch blanks that would require it.
