FRC 'Homewaters' Blanks
The FRC Homewaters carbon blank range has always been one our most popular blanks and we're pleased to be offering it in a gloss finish over a natural graphite grey finish.
The blanks medium fast action rods flex from the tip into the midsection, offering a forgiving feel while still delivering decent line speed, this helps with both short, accurate casts and moderate-distance presentations.
IM7/ 30 Ton high-modulus graphite for a balance of strength, weight and sensitivity as well as great tip recovery.
Four piece blanks except for the 9' 5wt seven piece, supplied with rod bag, decal and guide spacing info.

What can I say about the Homewaters series of blanks... I bought 1 a 9'#5 loved it so much I bought another 4, 2 to gift to friends, 1 to raffle for our angling association's funds and I managed to snaffle a cheeky 10'#4 for me in a sale. This rod doesn't have meggamillion modulus japanese toray carbon, it's not infused with weird & wonderful graphene nano particles or god knows what else( although all these things can have their moment) The Homewaters blanks are just incredibly well made and finished and they make gorgeous fine & light fly rods with the sweetest action and the most forgiving nature. ideally suited to fine lines or even less experienced hands. Combine it with a proper Fortitude decal and some quality components from Jason and take your time to build it and you'll have a beautiful fly rod you can be proud of, to keep, to gift, whatever! a word of caution if you plan to gift? buy two, as when you see it finished, it may be hard to part with
